If you aren’t working, and you can devote yourself to taking on school as a job, the full-time program might be the right option for you. Our day program is structured to be completed in 19 weeks. You can expect to be on campus daily at least Monday through Friday. Your time will be spent taking classes and hands-on experience in our student salon, where you’ll be overseen by Instructors. Evening Program Options

If you have a job or other commitments, such as children, an evening program may take a little longer but it’ll get you ready for your career as a nail tech. Tint’s evening nail program allows you to finish in around 25 weeks. Tint has tailored our program for those balancing other commitments, such as work and family. 

You can expect your time on campus to be split between classroom learning and hands-on experience in the salon. However, your weekly schedule won’t be as demanding as it is for a full-time student, making it easier to adapt your school schedule to your work schedule. Also, the student salon is open on the weekends, so you can learn everything you need to know. 

What to Expect During Your Time at Nail School

You can imagine what time at nail school might look like, but you need more information. Your time will be spent either in class or working on hands-on experience. While in class, you’ll learn more about nail care techniques, health and safety practices, and nail art skills. You can expect much of this to be in a lecture format and readings, You may need to take quizzes and exams to show what you’ve learned.

During hands-on experience, you’ll work with clients of the school. You’ll provide manicures and pedicures with the help of our staff to help you build confidence.
